Jimmy Middlemiss came from very humble beginnings in a small village near Northallerton.
Over the course of his lifetime he built up a small family business and farm in the rural location of Hurworth, just outside of Darlington. Jimmy was the quintessential trader, dealing in anything and everything, with his wife Barbara, running the office and his son running the yard and then all of them farming on a weekend.

The internals consist of a single toilet with basin and a hand wash water heater plus 2 separate shower cubicles - these come complete with clothes hooks and a handy bench to sit when you put your socks back on.

**Spares or repair 32’ x 10’ anti vandal office**
The unit has 4 x sliding windows with security shutters that are secured from the inside. It is split with a large canteen/office area and a small drying room at one end.
It has jacklegs fitted but 1 has been caught and is bent slightly.
This is a Thurston built unit and as you can see the ceiling has come down in places. It is not rotten but how the roof is fitted from new and sealed with silicone, if the joint is broken it lets a little water in. This is a very simple repair to carry out and new plaster board is easily obtained.
We normally repair these ourselves but just have too much on at the moment.

They are fitted with barn doors with pins fitted in the frame so if the hinges are cut the door will not fall off (when closed)

This toilet block is in good condition and is ready for use.
The unit is 21’ x 9’ and has both Male and Female sections. Both doors are on the same elevation.

In the female section there is a toilet and sink with a water heater.
Overall the container is in good condition - it has been checked over and is ready for use.
